As part of the Economic & Community Development Department, the Community Enhancement Division oversees all Code Compliance and Grants Administration for the City of Bloomington.

Community Enhancement Division Strategic Objectives:

• Maintain and improve the quality of affordable housing stock within the city.
• Support public services that address homelessness, disparate health outcomes, barriers to suitable and affordable housing, and financial insecurity among under resourced community members. 
• Remove abandoned housing structures that decrease economic vitality and replace the properties with decent and affordable options for our community.
• Support upgrades to public infrastructure to ensure all community members have access to multi-modal transportation options.
• Use funding to help ensure that inequities are reduced or eliminated, and environmental sustainability is achieved.
