Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program

As an entitlement community receiving annual grants on a formula basis from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Bloomington is required to develop and adopt a five-year Consolidated Plan detailing the goals for and use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to benefit the community. The 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan summarizes all public and stakeholder input collected during the public engagement process and details priorities and objectives for spending over the next five years (May 1, 2020, through April 30, 2025). The Consolidated Plan was prepared in accordance with regulations established by HUD for CDBG entitlement communities.
